HYPER, a group dedicated to empowering and mobilising young leaders in the life-sciences industry, organised a webinar on 1 March 2023. Based on the theme “Digital health solutions to advance diversity, equity and inclusion”, panellists discussed various facets of health inequity and digital solutions.

Digital Connected Care Coalition
The GHFutures2030 Commission was invited to present the recommendations and findings of the report to the DCCC members on 14 February, 2023. Participants had the opportunity to hear key findings and insights from the Commission’s report and discuss the potential roles of private sector actors in implementing the Commission’s recommendations.

Ashoka University
Prof. Ilona Kickbusch was invited by Ashoka University, a leading liberal arts educational institution in India, to present a talk on digital health and global health on 16th February 2023. The presentation, “Thinking about the digital transformation of health” explored the dimensions of digital health technologies and the need to think critically and creatively about technological advancements within health systems.

International Health Dialogue
Prof. Ilona Kickbusch, co-commissioner of the Commission spoke at the International Health Dialogue in New Delhi, India on 13th February 2023. Hosted by the Apollo Hospital Group, the IHD was a 2 day international event focused on technological developments in health and patient safety.

WHO Youth Council Dinner
On 27 January 2023, the Governing Health Futures 2030 Commission organised a dinner in Geneva for the WHO Youth Council members to share further information on the work of the Commission and future steps.
