#MyHealthFutures

Launched on 12 August 2022, #MyHealthFutures calls on all stakeholders in the digital health ecosystem to support a global movement to build better health futures through implementing the Commission’s recommendations. The campaign has been designed by young people and aimed at creating space to hear from young people in shaping health futures.

The campaign's
aims are to

  • Create space for young people under the age of 35 to share their concerns, hopes and ideas for improving health futures
  • Disseminate key messages from the Commission report, including the importance of strengthening youth leadership in the design, implementation and evaluation of digital first health systems and governance.

The first phase of the campaign will ask one key question to young people:

How can digital first health systems deliver better health futures for young people ?

Responses through different mediums such as polls, response cards, and/or video messages will be received from young people through various social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn.

These responses will be compiled and presented during an international global health convening of decision makers at the World Health Summit on the 16-18 October in Berlin.

One youth champion will be selected to join the panel discussion and present the video on behalf of the GHFutures2030 Youth Network.

Several other cross cutting initiatives will support this campaign including:

  • a youth call for blogs
  • campaign champions selected to join upcoming podcasts/convenings
  • online polls/surveys to collect data and collaborative campaign strategies with other youth networks and/or partners working with young people to improve the diversity of youth responses.
