Paula Bombara is an Argentine writer, biochemist, and scientific communicator. Her work is read throughout Latin America and Spain. Among her most awarded novels are El mar y la serpiente, La chica pájaro, Lo que guarda un caracol and La fuerza escondida. In 2003 she created ¿Querés saber? –a book series of scientific communication published by EUDEBA, the academic publishing house of the University of Buenos Aires — and which she has directed since. She is part of the research group “Discursos e infancias” of the Institute of Linguistics of the same University, where she is doing her doctorate.
