The Lancet

Founded in 1823, the Lancet family of world-class journals is committed to improving lives through medical research. With offices in London, New York, and Beijing, The Lancet publishes a weekly journal and monthly speciality journals in the fields of child & adolescent health, diabetes & endocrinology, digital health, gastroenterology & hepatology, global health, haematology, HIV, infectious diseases, neurology, oncology, planetary health, psychiatry, public health, respiratory medicine, and rheumatology. The Lancet are the convenors of the Commission. Their editors supported the Commissioners in their work and published the report following peer review.

Financial Times

The Financial Times is one of the world’s leading business news organisations, recognised internationally for its authority, integrity and accuracy.

 

The Financial Times arranged a series of convenings, developed a microsite, and produced coverage on the themes covered by the Commission. It generated relevant insights from the business and policymaking communities, from which the Commission could draw. They will also be strong partners in disseminating the Commission’s findings.

World Health Summit

The World Health Summit (WHS), organised by Europe’s largest university hospital, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, is the annual conference of the M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centers, Universities and National Academies. The WHS aims to improve health all over the planet by facilitating collaboration and open dialogue across all relevant stakeholders and steering tomorrow’s agenda to improve research, education, healthcare and policy outcomes.

 

The Commission co-hosted a session on ‘Health Data as a Global Public Good’ with the WHS, which took place on October 29, 2019. The global report launch of the Commission took place at the WHS 2021.

Wilton Park

Wilton Park is a forum for global dialogue, convening meetings in the UK and across the world on issues such as global health, security, prosperity, the environment and international justice. Their work crosses political, cultural and religious boundaries, bringing together leading representatives for the essential conversations that drive change.

 

Wilton Park partnered with the Commission to organise a total of six convenings to collect insight from different stakeholders.
