Yudhanjaya Wijeratne is a science fiction author and data scientist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. His writing includes Numbercaste, The Inhuman Race and The Salvage Crew, has appeared in venues like Wired, ForeignPolicy and Slate. He is the co-founder of Watchdog, a fact-checking organization in Sri Lanka, and a senior researcher with the Data, Algorithms and Policy team at LIRNEasia, working around public policy, misinformation and linguistics. He also moonlights at the Scifi Economics Lab, designing postcapitalist futures for the open-source world of Witness. Yudhanjaya has been nominated for the Nebula Award and recognized as one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30.
