Dr Lipsa (@imlipsa) is the Communication Officer and the lead visual communicator of the Secretariat of The Lancet and the Financial Times Commission on GHFutures2030. After obtaining her PhD in Respiratory Immunology from CSIR-Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, she pursued her passion for Science Communication. With an expertise in graphic design and visual communication, she is one of the very few recognised visual science communicators in India. She has worked with multiple research organisations to develop their branding and communicate their research via visuals. Driven by her enthusiasm in science communication, Lipsa is now expanding her horizons and amalgamating her experience in health, research, and visuals to engage, inform, and improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people.
When she is not working, painting, and talking to young people, she spends her time practicing Indian classical music and writing Hindi poetry.
