Dr Lan Xue is a Cheung Kong Chair Distinguished Professor and Dean of Schwarzman College in Tsinghua University. His teaching and research interests include STI policy, crisis management, and global governance. From 2000-2018, he served as Associate Dean, Executive Associate Dean, and Dean of the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University. Dr Lan Xue also serves as an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow of the Brookings Institution. He is a member of the National Committee for Strategic Consultation and Comprehensive Review, the chair of National Expert Committee on AI Governance, and a Co-Chair of the Leadership Council of the UN Sustainable Development Solution Network (UNSDSN). He is a recipient of the Fudan Distinguished Contribution Award for Management Science.
