Robert Dean Smith

Research Assistant

Robert is a second-year MA student at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Anthropology and Sociology. Robert holds interests in the intersections of political and medical anthropology. He has previously conducted research on the history of cancer care and epidemiology in India, and is currently researching the political determinants of primary health care programmes. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals, including The Journal of Global Oncology, Indian Journal of Cancer, Metascience, Somatosphere, and more. When not working, Robert enjoys learning languages and reading continental philosophy.
